The Ski Fit Tips are intended to support skiers of all ages and abilities to prepare for the slopes. They have been developed over a number of years to mimic skiing actions, developing flexibility and strength in core muscle groups and to enhance proprioception (the ability to sense stimuli within the body regarding position, motion, and equilibrium).

The Ski Fit Tips can be conducted individually or incorporated into a ski specific workout. They do not require expensive equipment or access to a gym and can be incorporated into everyday activities (such as brushing your teeth) or added to existing workouts or exercise regimes.

Levels of difficulty and complexity can be progressively increased over time. However, as with all exercise regimes it’s wise to consult a physician before attempting any of the tips and to stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness or nausea.

The Ski Fit Tips are a free resource, please feel free to use and share. If you would like to discuss your pre-season ski training with me then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
