Chris has skied extensively in North America and Europe. He is a British Army Ski Leader and BASI qualified instructor and specialises in coaching those looking to develop off-piste skills and to explore beyond the marked runs and trails.
Chris also supports skiers looking to return to the sport following injury through his association with Lizzy Lane, a former Team GB Olympic physiotherapist, at her practice Coventry Physio First.
To get the most from your skiing and to reduce the risk of injury, Chris and Lizzy advocate pre-training to prepare for the specific physical demands of the sport. They have developed a series of ski-specific exercises and routines that they tailor to skiers of all abilities from novice to performance athlete.
Chris has also developed a series of Ski Fit Tips, simple, easy to follow dry training exercises which don’t require expensive equipment or gym membership and which can be incorporated into your daily routine.
